| Organ Bursary Scheme |
| What's it all about? The scheme exists to promote and train young people and adults as Church Organists through expert individual tuition given on quality organs throughout the city. This tuition is paid for by an Organ Bursary awarded to successful applicants. |
| Nominations These are welcome from: 1/ Music Teachers and Schools 2/ Ministers and members of Churches 3/ Other Churches outwith the Church of Scotland 4/ Interested adults with good piano or keyboard experience. |
| Requirements Candidates should preferably have Grade 6 Pianoforte Certificate (associated Board) or equivalent standard of play. Keyboard players of similar standard may also apply. An interest in singing or membership of a choir may also be an advantage, but is not essential. |
| Funding The fund is maintained through generous donations from churches of various Christian denominations in the city, direct sponsorship from Dundee Presbytery, charities, Trusts and individual contributions. Any group or individual wishing to make a donation to the fund should send to:
