| A Prayer About Letting Doubts Melt Away
Precious Father,
Precious Lord Jesus,
Wonderful Holy Spirit,
I have doubts from time to time.
I do not want to have doubts.
Yet I am human and you are invisible.
Never let my mind or my thoughts build a wall between us.
Never let me question the authority of the scriptures.
Never let me think the scriptures are just a story.
Never let me think you were just a man.
Never let me fear to believe any word in the scripture.
Never let me make exceptions to anything the scripture says.
Never let me fear to trust you.
Always let me consider the scriptures as a personal love letter sent by
you to me.
Always let there be a tiny bit of your light in the darkness of my doubt
or questions.
Always place a tiny sparkle of your light in my heart as I watch the
walls of doubt melt away.
In the name of God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit
who lives within me and touches me,
Amen

A Prayer To See The Beauty Of
The Earth
Precious Lord, Wonderful Savior, Gracious Heavenly
Father,
O Lord, open my eyes and my heart today.
Open my eyes so I may see the grandeur of your snow-capped mountains and
the azure blue of your skies.
Open my heart to see the love you placed within all your creation upon
the earth.
Open my eyes so I may see the billows of your seas.
Open my heart so I may see your loving hands upholding all of life.
Open my eyes so I may see your awesome power and might keeping all of
life moving and growing.
Open my eyes so I may see your fields of grass, flowers, and grain.
Open my heart so I may see your infinitesimal cells of life growing and
dividing as you created them to do, and as your hand guides and supports
them to do this hour.
Open my eyes so I may see your beauty of your trees pointing upward
toward you.
Please give me the wisdom and guidance to keep your earth as you
intended.
Give me the strength to do the right thing in using your resources.
Give me the love to caress your creation each day.
I love you, O Lord.
I adore you, Precious One.
All these things I humbly pray.
In the name of God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit
who lives within me and touches me, Amen
